ABOUT US

The Teacher Empowerment Network(TEN) is a movement that exists to ensure that every child in Kenya has access to high-quality learning opportunities. We believe that teachers are central to the learning experience of students. The TEN helps find the best-prepared local teachers and places them in classrooms where they are sorely needed.

The TEN is a strategic initiative of Pacemaker International (PACE), a leading education NGO in Kenya. Pacemaker International was founded in 2013 and formally registered with the NGO board in Kenya. Through PACE, we support education outcomes including literacy & numeracy for learners from rural and slum areas.
